Frequently Asked Questions How many guests can The Bell Event Centre hold? Our maximum capacity for receptions is 300 guests. 250 guests is the maximum for ceremony and reception. Do guests select their entrée with a plated menu? One menu is chosen for all guests before the event. Our plated menus are duets. For example if you chose chicken and filet for your menu, no choice is required, guests receive both chicken and filet. Am I able to customize a menu to fit our specific wants? Yes, we have an executive chef that can create a menu of your choice. We also have sample menus that you can choose from. Upcharges may apply if you change the menus. Some of my guests have dietary restrictions. Do you provide these options? Yes, we can accommodate for any dietary restrictions that you may have if you let us know ahead of time. There is no extra cost for these meals Does The Bell Event Centre provide children’s meals? Yes, we provide children’s meals for kids six and under for $26.00. This price includes their meal and beverage choices of water, juices, and sodas. I am having a cocktail hour, is that time included in the reception? Yes, cocktail hour is included in the four hour reception. When can I schedule my ceremony rehearsal time? Rehearsal times are scheduled around room availability. The final rehearsal time is determined no sooner than 30 days prior to the event. What time can my event start? You choose your start and end time. Receptions are based on 4 hours. Our liquor license ends at 1:00 a.m. Can my event last longer than 4 hours? Yes, you can purchase additional time anytime before your event and the day of the event. If you would like to purchase an extra hour it is $900.00, not including bar charges. Can extra time or extra time bar charges be applied towards the minimum spending requirement? No, they cannot be applied. Do you provide votive candles for events? We do not provide votive candles for events. We do reuse and recycle leftover larger candles for the altar. If you would like any votives we can provide them for $1 each. Does The Bell Event Centre provide centerpieces? We have several centerpiece options that are available for rent. Prices vary. Who do I contact for information about a tent in the courtyard? We work with Advantage Tent & Party Rentals. Please call Justin for rates: (859) 760-6713. When will I find out who my event coordinator is? We cannot guarantee your event coordinator until 3 months before your event. We work as a team and have multiple coordinators. We are all informed about your event. Are lighting and sound packages included in the package? CSC Special Events provides lighting that is included in the package. The Bell Event Centre does not have any sound equipment for use. Are security guards provided for the event? Yes, security is provided for the entire event. Our security will help your guests with parking. They also will direct and help guests to our handicapped ramp.
